As someone with lupus, that is an incredibly unfunny joke. Like a really, really just makes my health anxiety much worse kind of joke.

And it's not only fluorescent light that might exacerbate (NOT cause) lupus, it's natural sunlight and regular household lighting too. Fluorescent lighting makes no difference unless you're going to live in a cave full time.
