Here’s something that helped me cut down on stress-drinking: non-alcoholic alcohol (if that makes sense, lol). Where I live alcohol-free cider (my favourite tipple) and wine are easy to find, alongside non-alcoholic beer and even gin now. I keep a couple of bottles about so when I’ve had a bad day but don’t want to booze I can still have a “treat” drink, so it’s still something to look forward to.
