How do you figure that gender expression is dictated by biology? It's very obviously societal expectation that assumes I should wear dresses and keep my hair long, as clearly evidenced by the now well-known fact that until relatively recently, pink was for boys and blue was for girls. The fact that this can change shows it's not a biological imperative.
