I agree so much. My writing does well even when I use ‘complex’ language, because it’s not targeted towards people with a limited vocabulary.

Grammarly was whining at me that the word “beheaded” was too ‘advanced’ — if you can’t figure out what beheading is, you shouldn’t be reading true crime in the first place.
