I agree with almost all of this; you seem to have the same writing philosophy as me. Follow-for-follow is pointless and so is the majority of “writing advice” on here. The only place I deviate is on images — I’m an SEO copywriter/editor for my 9-5 and call my cynical or jaded or both, but images really do increase engagement.
