I am usually all for holding people to account, even for past indiscretions, but she was a LITERAL CHILD. And she was mouthing along to a song, not like she was just saying it because it was part of her vocabulary!

Also I didn’t know that word was a slur when I was her age either. I’m not sure I’d heard it. Of course it’s problematic if an adult with plenty of worldly experience claims to not recognise it as offensive, but again, actual child.
