I don’t believe any writer “should” do or not do anything. It’s personal choice. I meter my stories and offer a friend link to anyone who wants to read that isn’t a member. I meter my stories because I can. I didn’t realise you could monetise when I first set up here, I was just looking for blog hosting. But if you can monetise why not? I get paid for the writing I do in my 9-5 🤷‍♀️
