I don’t disagree with your copywriter friend. I’m a voracious reader, so perhaps that does influence my work, but I do believe I have an innate talent for writing, just like some people find out when they’re young that they’re good at sports or singing.

Skills can be improved upon, but they can be inherent too, in my opinion.
