I don't support any business selling toxic products! I don't personally think it's fair to say the onus is on people to "do their due diligence". People trust celebrities and their recommendations, whether that's wise or not. That's exactly why companies selling unsafe products should be shut down and prosecuted. I watched a documentary the other day that said in the US, it used to be legal to knowingly sell beef that was infected with e-coli because "the onus was on consumers to cook it properly". Then a bunch of people died and now you can't sell meat infected with potentially deadly bacteria anymore. Personally, I think that was a good thing.
