I don't understand what you think is untrue! I met my partner at work — that's pretty normal, right? We get along because you wouldn't pursue any kind of relationship with someone you didn't like. We work in the same field, have similar hobbies, both don't want kids, because it would be a non-starter otherwise. Why do you think people get together?!
