I had a similar thing. One of my best friends for several years just flipped out and sent me a letter listing every "wrong" I'd committed in the friendship and that she would never talk to me again. I felt a little better when I found out she ended up doing it to several other of our mutual friends — kind of confirmed that she was the one with the problem, not me.
