I like to think this will turn into just another mild winter illness — possibly that’s already happening, albeit it slowly, with South Africa reporting mild illness with Omicron since so many people there have had covid before.

How long it takes for this to become another cold or flu I don’t know, but it’ll happen eventually. I hope.
