I so agree. You're supposed to get paid for your work, not the other way around!

I don't like how some Medium writers will criticise non-paying members, saying they refuse to read work from people who don't pay etc. It's so petty.

I'm a paid member now because I like to read and comment too, but I was just a writer for a year first and there's nowt wrong with that imo.
