I think fear of trolls is a good reason to shut down comments though. I didn’t know you could do that here, but I used to do it on Quora whenever I wrote a positive answer about the Duchess of Sussex because I didn’t want 100 notifications calling both me and her an ugly bitch. Sometimes you have to look out for your mental health.
