I think it’s okay as long as everyone knows what there’s getting into. If I loved me high-earning job I would have no problem supporting a lower-earning partner. The problem would be if, like in your title, “force” were involved. Everyone has the right to pursue their dreams, even if that means being a starving artist, but you can’t force someone to pay for you, imo
