I think musicians are entitled to write songs about whatever they want, and parents are entitled to ban their kids from listening to it, or talk to them about the meanings of popular songs if they think it's necessary. Personally I don't think it's that deep. Kids parrot stuff all the time without having a clue what it means. All my favourite songs from when I was 10 I now realise are about sex and it hasn't turned me into a nymphomaniac.
