I think this argument has been warped. I'm not sure I like people with no love for the craft, who just throw shit at the wall hoping something will stick and they'll hit paydirt. To me, that's basically spam.

But outside of that it's ridiculous to pretend to be such a martyr that getting paid for your work is abhorrent to you. Writing is my full-time job, I kind of need the salary that comes with that. I got bills to pay!
