I think this is great. You're right, children enjoy the twinkly lights and the tree and the presents — no man in a red coat necessary. I began to have my doubts about the whole sherade when I noticed that my dad and Father Christmas has identical handwriting, but I don't recall it dulling the excitement of the season.
