I'm not sure I understand your point — are you saying we should go to see films we aren't interested in because they're directed by women? Seems reminiscent of the man who told me I'm not a feminist because I didn't support Liz Truss as Prime Minister. Feminism doesn't mean abandoning your morals or your artistic tastes, imo.
