I'm with you — took the pill without breaks for years until I got a blood clot (not caused by the pill) and had to stop. Those peroid-free years were bliss.

I kind of get annoyed at people moaning about how terrible their periods are, but still opting to have them. It makes no sense to me, much less the drive there seems to be lately to make everyone love menstruation. I don't care if you want to finger paint with your menstrual blood, but I'm not joining in, I'll be drugged up on codeine and hugging a hit water bottle.
