Interesting.

A 2011 University of Nebraska study demonstrated that consuming true crime is correlated with increased fear of being a victim of crime. With increased frequency of consuming true crime shows came increased support of death penalty and decreased support for the criminal justice system.

Interesting. I’m gonna call myself out as an anomaly as I watch and read a lot of true crime, but I’m not especially afraid and I’m wildly anti-capital punishment.
