It's fine to approach women if it's in an appropriate arena, like a bar. When men come up to me when I'm at the gym or walking down the road with headphones on, looking to all the world that I don't want to be approached, it really gets my hackles up. If I'm on the train reading a book, leave me alone, I chose the book over conversation that day.
