Hey hypocrites! I’m talking to you!
Guys, don’t make me make my own Chris Crocker-style YouTube video. I don’t know how. But I swear to Cod I’ll learn if you lot don’t shut up about Madonna’s face once and for all.
Why? Partly because your stone-cold take on what a complete stranger chooses to do with her own body is the 100,568,000th uploaded to the internet today and I’m bored. In the wise words of Chase Icon:
“Just stop it, get another topic. You’re not a Bratz but you’re a Polly Pocket”
That means you ain’t all that, by the way. What you are is a hypocrite. Sit with that word for a minute. Roll it around on your tongue. Hy-po-cr-ite. Hey, that’s you!
Which brings me to the crux of why I’m so over this topic. By claiming that Madonna is being “ageist” by having plastic surgery, you are being incredibly…oh, what’s the word? Oh yes, ageist.
What have you achieved?
The woman has a 40-year music career and a best-selling book under her belt, as well as admittedly less impressive acting and directing credits, and all you can talk about is how old she does or doesn’t look. Do you hear yourself speaking?! That is the definition of ageism. It’s sexist too, while we’re at it.
