Nice edit, I like it! The bit in the prior section is good, but I'm not sure I connected it with the latter statement. Maybe because both sections are addressed to different audiences, and because of the order — like 'dont do this' and then 'oh shit, they did it anyway, okay well here's why'. This may just be me though!!

I see what you mean about wanting to help men even if they wouldn't act out. Maybe you could say it's vital to help them regardless of whether they internalise or externalise their pain?
