Oh, I'm only in two days a week! I work from home for the rest. What makes the difference for me is a) my day job is a writing job, b) I like my job and c) I like my colleagues. If it was a boring job with people I don't like, I might feel differently.

And while I like having such a salary, it's because I live in London. No way if I was living and working anywhere else I'd be paid comparably. We just need £40k to be able to afford a £20k lifestyle 😅
