Oh man, distribution is quite often the kiss of death. I’d say maybe 75% of my articles have been distributed lately and and the views have generally fallen off a cliff the next day.

I have a couple that have been runaway successes and earned quite a lot, but one of them was only curated after a month when it had made most of its money already, so I suspect the other would have made as much under its own steam too.

In terms of knowing it’s been distributed, you need to either click into the article from the stats page, or download a browser extension that shows you.
