Personally, I give money to homeless people in the full knowledge that they might use it on drugs or alcohol. I mean, wouldn’t you? Living on the streets must be miserable. Given charity is ostensibly a Christian concept, I think you also need to withhold judgement when you partake.

Also, you may not realise that the definition of homeless is someone without a permanent roof over their head; sofa-surfing and crashing with friends counts too.
