Pretty different among countries actually. In France and Italy, for example, it's still common for businesses to just shut for four weeks over summer and employees to use up nearly all their leave then. In the UK, I've never worked anywhere that allowed more than 2-3 weeks consecutive leave. Id hate to use all my holiday in one go anyway though.
