TBF, her own cats are quite cuddly, and I think you come with expectations based on prior experience. Eva was a learning curve for me, not being much of a lap cat (at least at first) as my childhood cats Sandy and Smudge loved to be cuddled and would fight each other over who got to sit on the lap :D
