Bollocks to bunting, street parties and queuing on the Mall in the soggy British summer. Only Brexit voters wave the flag around and whose idea of fun is eating finger sandwiches with the neighbours you don’t speak to the other 364 days a year?

However, just because watching the Trooping of the Colour is as fascinating as watching paint dry, it doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate the Jubilee Weekend in style! Here are some activities everyone can enjoy over these four days.

Get some culture

Did you know that people have been waiting on the Mall since Monday? They’ll be soaked to the skin by now. No offence to any monarchists out there, but the way this country simps for the royals is frankly embarrassing.

Now, one might argue that the engaging in anything royal is a uniquely British cultural experience, but there are better ways to enrich your mind than watching people dripping in jewellery waving from gold coaches while the country suffers the greatest cost of living crisis in recent memory (if only there were something they could do to help, eh?).
