You can’t just “not believe” in mice. There is unarguable proof that mice exist. We’re not talking about ghosts or god here.

Now I don’t know if you ever really had rats in your home; I’ve certainly never known anyone to have rats in their house, only mice. And even then it is not just a normal feature of life in the UK. I only ever had a mouse in my home once, and that was only because we hadn’t noticed a hole. Blocked that up and they were gone.
